ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES
(Per Press Association.; Auckland, Aug. 21. At the Police Court, Harry I/nncan pleaded not guilty to two charges of false pretences. It ,was alleged that the accused obtained £BS from a, man by representing that he was the sole New, Zealand, agent for automobile accessories, and £lO5 form a printer by representing that he was proprietor of a publication called ‘‘The New Zealand Road Pilot.” Iti both cases a partnership, was offered., He was committed for trial.
