A DRAWN GAME.

The Wanganui B rep. team met the Feilding representative eleven on Cook’s Gardens on Saturday uf-tc-1110011, and a fast and spectacular game resulted. The ground was in lair condition, but a trifle rough at the east end, otherwise the game was played under almost ideal conditions. At the start, the visitors were two men short, owing to, a delay on the road, but two excellent substitutes were secured from the Phoenix team until half-time, when the Feilding captain arrived and took his place in the forwards.

The Feilding team were: Mingins, Prior, Hoar, Scotnoy, Harford; centre half, W. Worsfold; halves, Hausman and Neilson: backs Hoaro and Packer; goal, Sporle. Feilding attacked with determination in the first spell, Mingins, Prior, Scotnoy and Harford being prominent. The first score was the finish to a charge by Hausman up the line, then passing to Prior and Harford, who dropped the ball into the circle foi Scotncv to score. Wanganui bucked up and atacked for ten minutes, eventually finding the net and making the scores equal.
