In the Badak case the jury found Scarborough, Clarke and Orton not guilty of conspiracy. The ' foreman added that the jury was of opinion that accused, though not guilty of conspiracy, wero guilty of misrepresentation. Accused were discharged. This case arose out of the Badak tin mine shares, which reached a phenomenal height and then dropped to zero on the mino proving worthless. ' ',
