JURY OVER-RULED.
Bombay, May 3. The Judge refused to accept the unanimous verdict of not guilty returned by the jury of five Indians in the case of Hazrat Mohani, the Moslem leader, who was charged at Ahmedabad wtih sedition and waging war. Mohani, who defended in a passionate address his speeches advocating an Indian republic, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment.
