WARWICK ST BRIDGE
IMPROVEMENTS TO APPROACHES. WORKS COMMITTEE’S REPORT. At a special meeting of the Borough Council this morning the following report presented by Iho Works Committeo was adopted:— The Committee met at Warwick St. Bridge to consider the question of approaches to tho new bridge, and recommend as follows : 1. That concrete retaining wall with concrete posts, and wooden gate at yard entrance, be erected at eastern side of bridge. 2. That wooden retaining wall be erected at west side of bridge. 3. That a light flood gate be erected underneath the bridge. 4. That board fence be continued from yard fence to bridge at north side. 5. That tho work be carried out by a portion of the maintenance staff under Mr Stringer’s supervision. (Engineer’s estimate for work, excluding flood gate, £159).
