At the sale of tho late Baroness Burdett-Coutts’s library, the famous Daniel first folio edition of Shakespeare, originally bought by the Baroness for £7!L6, fetched £B6OO. Another first folio edition bought 150 years ago for four guineas, fetched £5400. Dr. llosonhach, an American dealer and collector, purchased both.
