NAVY BEEF CONTRACT.
SECURED BY QUEENSLAND FIRM. (By Electric Cable-Copyright.) Aust.. and N.Z. Cable Association.) London, May 16. Mr Jowett states that a Queensland meat works firm lias secured a contract for the supply to the Admiralty of 700,000 pounds weight of tinned meat, delivery to be made in October and December.
