Tracy was knocked out in the eighth round. Tracy was three inches taller than Brennan, but Slbs lighter, weighing 1871bs. Tracy showed lack of boxing skill, which, ’ despite liis speed and vast courage, proved wholly ineffective against the more experienced man, who was a greater master ol ringcraft. The bout was scheduled to go 15 rounds, and probably 8000 viewed the fight. Tracy, before the battle, said if lie was beaten he would no longer stay in America. The fight took place at Madison Square gardens.
