Lloyd George Scores. French critics of Lloyd George have again been confounded by his success at Genoa. ,He has not only induced Russia to go to the Hague, but Lenin approves of the European Peace Pact organised by the brilliant Welshmen. Critical and Comprehensive. From the executive of the New Zealand Moderate League comes a copy of a 56-pago pamphlet containing a Critical Examination of the Special Education Report (No. 131, “Alcohol in Relation to the Human Body and Mind.” This comprehensive brochure shows tremendous industry and a wide range of reading on the part of its author, R. A. Armstrong, Dominion Secretary of tho League. Anticipating that it will be widely used during tbo coming campaign, the author has provided a helpful index, and he clearly and frequently gives credit to authorities quoted in support of his arguments, which will give Mr Parr, as Minister,of Education, some overtime exertions to catch up with. Mr Armstrong recommends his criticism to the perusal of the Minister, to parents, to teachers, and to legislators. And we can do no less than second his motion for its perusal, and admire his industry.
