COLONEL "DOWN AND OUT."

FOUND DEAD IN GAS-FILLED ROOM. London, April 18. Lieut.-Colonel Brock Williams, D.5.0., who was second in command of the Swansea Battalion of the Welsh Regiment, was found dead in a gasfilled room in the office of the boxing promoter Major AVilson, who is assisting in the arrangements for the match between Georges Carpentier and "Kid" Lewis. Major Wilson says that Col. Williams was badlv wounded in the war. He became bankrupt a year ago and disappeared. Major Wilson found him down and out, and gave him house room and permission to use his office.
