N.Z. THOROUGHBREDS. (By Electric Cable—Copyright.) (Aust.-N.Z. Cable Association.) Sydney, April 27. The thoroughbred sales were continued to-day. On account of Mr lan Duncan (Waikanao), ten brood mares realised 1810 guineas. The toj) price was 300 guineas for Blue Grass. Other prices ranged from 70 to 270 guineas, including 210 e.'jch for Merry Margaret, and Skirl, and 270 for Samniform. On account Mr J. F. Reid (Oamaru), five horses realised 630 guineas, the top price being given for Judaea, who fetched 210 guineas. On account Mr T. Lowry (Hawke s Bay), Belfry realised 310 guineas and Quote 140 guineas.

There was a good attendance., A sum of £21,173 was pur through the machine, against £37,160' last year, a decrease of £15,987.
