BOROUGH POLL To-MORROW.
£6500 FOR BRIDGES
Ratepayers of the borough will be asked to vote to-monwy upon the Council's proposal to raiee the sum of £6500 for the construction of bridges over the Makino stream at Warwick street, Beattie street, and Duke street. The polling booth (at the Borough Council Chambers) will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. These improvements are essential. No opposition has been displayed towards the proposed bridges, but it will be well for ratepayers not to take the poll for granted. Every ratepayer should take the trouble to record his vote.
