COST OF LIVING BONUS. An order of the Arbitration Court, amending tbe New Zealand factory and clothing trade award, has been filed." Tailoresses have been granted a bonus of 5s a week, cutters, pressors and male machinists lvero awarded a bonus of 2£d per hour; male apprentices received a bonus addition of 3s a Aveek. The Court added tbe following memorandum: "The union sought in this application to have then- basic ivages revieived by the Court, but this Court declines to do so, leaving the matter to be considered upon an application for a neiv award."
