ADDINGTON MARKET. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, June 9. At the Addington Market there was a big yarding of fat stock and an average one of stores. There was an improvement in the store sheep marketed, the mutton market being very firm, whilst an overflow yarding of fat beef met with much easier, sale. Store sheep: Lambs 17s 4d to 21s 10d, inferior 12s 7d to 15s 6d, good 2-tooth lines in lamb 27s lid to 30s lid, cull 2-tooth .ewes in lamb 15s sd, good empty 2-tooth ewes to 27s Id, lowconditioned ewes 24s 10d 3 sound 21s to 275, 4 and G-tootli wethers 26s 4d to 29s 9d, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 24s 6(1 to 27s lid, 2-tooth wethers 24s Id to 29s 6d. Fat lambs: A yarding of 2600 of indifferent quality, an average demand by freezing buyers occupying the bulk." Extra prime lambs to 38s, prime 27s 6d to 32s Id, medium 24s 9d to 26s 9d, lighter 20s to 24s 6d. Fat sheep: A big yarding, with many lines of very prime, both ewes and wethers.
