Canadian market is easier; current quotations, c.i.f., £8 Is, £8 3s, but price is considered, too high for trade for large buying. New'Zealand'-stock, June 4, 2083 crates, as against 43,126 at* this time last year. Wool Sales. — Crossbreds selling slowly. Government limit is 'tooTiigh in many cases for New Zealand crossbreds, and large proportion withdrawn as buyers can purchase similar description frqe Argentine at relatively lower prices. Honey. — Demand is improving. Prices firmer at this week's public sale. New Zealand sold B grade 95s per cwt., C grade 85s. Hemp.—Manila market dull and declining. J. "grade, February-April to April-June shipments now quoted at £61; July-September shipment . sold £64 ss. New Zealand , market dull. No change in prices except high points spot, now quoted at £58.
