MANAWATU RUGBY UNION

The Rugby Union met last evening. There were present: Messrs Ongley (chairman), J. B. Proud, J. Devine, DP. Jones, J. R. Hardie, W. Carruthers, E. Hodder, J. A. Colquhoun, C. White, H. E. Bennett, and W. Harris. A report from the Union's Folding representative was adopted. Dannevirke sub-union applied for , home-and-home rep. matches.. It was decided that the secretary of the Pirates' Club should make formal application for insurance for two casualties lately suffered by the Club's junior team.
