However, a. considerable boom for Mr Hoover started to-night, but the koomers hare not yet come out into the open, though it is whispered that big interests are backing Him. It is argued that Mr Hoover is a friend of the League of Nations, and League supporters wil lnaturally back' him. It would seem _ to-night, however, that Mr Johnson is favourite. Women are expected to play a big part in this year's Presidential nomination.
