COMING OF THE PRINCE.

AN" ADDRESS FROM FEILDING AND DISTRICT. Advantage svas taken of the representative, gathering of local and conntry tic-legates at the Borough Council Chambers yesterday afternoon by Mayor Harford to ask for suggestions regarding the part to be taken by Feilding during the visit of the Prince oi W;iles in April next. After a general discussion, Messrs Geo. Bartholomew and O. McElroy moved: That on the day the Prince) passes through Feilding it- be declared a school holiday, that all the children in tiie district be brought into tosvn, that rcit'eslimeiits be provided for the children, and that the Schools Sports Association be asked to arrange a sports programme to entertain the children. Carried,

Mr S. Andrew suggested that a ioitit loyal address be presented to the Prince ' from the Foil-ling Borough Council and the adjacent County Councils.
