RAILWAY REDUCTIONS.
KEEN BUSINESS MEN ON THE JOB. (Per Press Association.) Christ-church, July 4. A meeting of representatives of the comomercial and industrial organisations of tho city resolved to send a- deputation to Wellington to discuss with tho Genoral Manager and tho Minister of Railways matters arising out of the restriction of tho railway services botwoou Christchurch and Lyttelton and Canterbury generally.. The deputation is expected to leavo on Tuesday for Wellington.
