STRANGE ACCIDENT.
Owing to some cartridges in a furnace at the Christchurch destructor exploding, Mr H. J. Wilkins, a returned soldier, received wound from a. bullet in the arm. He was removed to the hospital, where it was found necessary to perform an operation.
