One of the ntaiiv tasks performed by Base Records, 'Wellington, is the checking of all accounts in connection with the four weeks' free railway travelling and free meals al the railway refreshment rooms, which comprise one of the returned soldier's privileges. The payments under ihs heading lo the Railay Department during one month recently amounted to 111.030.
