She was a young school inarm, who had taken charge of a "flu" case. The sick woman was a young mother, wife of a navvy, who, on arriving home at night, eyed the amateur nurse with some suspicion, although she was a dream in grey and white. The temperature of tho sick one rose, and hubby was politely told (1.0 cease talking and get to the kitchen. The British working man considered he was in his castle, and refused to budge. The school inarm promptly went to the kitchen and returned with a poker in her hand, whereupon hubby, like the Arabs, silently stolo away.
