AIR GUARD FOR MINES.
WORK OF HEMMING IN THE ÜBOATS IN THE J3IGHT. London. The work of our seaplanes in the JJight of Heligoland has been attracting considerable attention in professional circles. It is well known that we have been busy all through the winter laying mines in those waters in order to •keep tho U-boats in as much as possible. In bad weather the German minesweepers were able to come out and clear the fields as often as they found them. Now that bettor flying weather has come along, however, we aro putting a check to that by s<tI tacking them with soaplanes.
