HONOURS FOR OUR NURSES
BT EliEOTfl/C TKIKQBAPH. —COPXBIBHT (Press Association.) London, September 17. The Distinguished Service Order has been awarded to Major C. H. Evans, New Zealand Infantry. A bar to the Military Cross has been given to Lieut. A. G. Melles. Military Crosses have been awarded to the following New Zealanders :— Captain H. D. McHugh, Cyclists Corps. Lieut. E. R. Wells. Mounted Rifles. Second Lieuts. W. P. Little, C. H. Taylor, and T. L. Ward, Infantry. Royal Red Crosses of the First Class have been presented to Misses Evelyn Brooks and Alice Read, and of the Second Class to Misses Jessie Bicknell. Louise Brandon. Beatrice Brooks. Louie Menie. and Winifred White.
