THE HUN AND THE HOSPITAL
Paris, September 7. A Gorman aeroplane bombed a military hospital at Dadelaincourt on Tuesday night, killing 19 patients and wounding 26 others. It flew over the hospital every 20 minutes, and hit the building each time. THE WAR. AIMS' OF FRANCE. Paris, September 6. Premier Ribot, speaking at th© unveiling of a war memorial in a cemetery where lie many Maine heroes, said France was not fighting to conquer territory but wants her own provinces taken by an abuse of strength. "We will not," ho said, "compromise on this demand for tho restitution of Alsace and Lorraine. This issue cannot, be submitted to diplomatists for discussion. It is one of the fust conditions for the establishment of the rights of nations. France docs not ask for punitive damages, but Germany should be compelled to repair the evil dono to France."
