HIS EASTER HOLIDAYS.
An indignant denial of a charge of being idle and disorderly was made by a man in the Ohristchurch Police Court last week. Accused said that he had never been charged with vagrancy before. Ho was dogged about by the police, and was always being put in gaol. "I am in and out like a concertina," he declared. " I have knocked off thieving. It is not the game it is cracked up to be. I have not had an Easter out for 16 years."
