l/ondon. August 9. The AVcstminster Gazette says that the optimism which predicts an early end or a speedy collapse of the enemy is misplaced and untimely. "AYe have no right," it adds, "to suppose that the Central Powers are in the. least degree reconciled to minimum peace terms."
