Private Sid. Hickoy, in the course of a letter to his parents at Opunake, says: "Bill Massey's son distinguished' himself si. few nights ago, by landing two Gorman, spies between our lines. Do you remember those two. hard-doer sailors 1 showed you in Wellington at Christmas ? One ol them -is becoming famous hero as a sniper and his -experiences are as good as you read in books, lie got three Gorman snipers in ono night and brought their helmets as evidence, and he seems to bo more at homo on thoir parapets than on ours."
