RAILWAY RECIPROCITY.
lii the House of Representatives, Mr W. H. Field asked the Minister of Defence whether somo reciprocal arrangement could not be entered into with the Comonwealth of Australia whereby returned Australians could travel free on New Zealand railways. Mr 0. H. Poole said he understood that New Zealand returned soldiers wero allowed to travel, free in Australia. The Prime,Mmister replied that the Government was at present in communication with the Commonwealth Government on the subject.
