Danish, 174s to 17bs; Australian, choicest, in small supply, uomiiyilly 158s to 100s. Bulk offerings consist of secondary; moderate demand at 150s to 154.5. Zealand choicest lG2s to 104s; secondary, 150s to 168s. Cheese.—Market very firm. Bulk arrivals are filling Government confracts. Strong demand for remainder. New Zealand, 105s to 106k; Canadian 108s.

Sugar.—The market is unchanged, Wheat-—-The market is firm, in sympathy with America; 67s 6d is asked for New South Wales sailer afloat. Flour, market firm. Oats, maorket very firm; La. Plata, none offering. Beans, market quiet; prices tending lower. Peas, market quiet, but firm. Silver, 30Id. per oz. Copper, cash, £124 to £124 10s" per ton; forward delivery. £120 to £120 10s. Tin, Straits, cash. £199 to £199 10s per ton, forward £198 fo £199 10s. Lead, soft foreign £35 5s to £35 7s (5d per lon. Spelter, G. 0.8., cash, £100 per ton, forward £90.

The. N.Z. Loan fc and Mercantile Agency Co. reports: 'During the week ;we held, sales at Apiti v Kimbolton, Feilding. and a clearing sale on account of Mr H. Vile, Hhnatangi. At Apiti on Tuesday, small lambs brought 10s 7d to lis 3d, fair lambs 14s 6d, store ewes los 9d, forward wethers 255, empty heifers £4, heifers r.w.b. £4, forward cows £6 to £<3 12s Od. light fat cows £7 10s, fat cows £10, 18-months steers £5 2s 6d. 21----year steers £7 10s. Pigs, stores 19s.

At Kimbolton on Wednesday we had a very satisfactory sale. Cull lambs 8s 9d. small lambs 10s 7d. 10s 9d to lis 2d. medium lambs 13s lOd, ewes in lamb 22s 5d to 25s 4<l. store wethers 22s- 3d, cull yearlings 31s, store cows £4 to £4 los, cows in calf £5. ■ -

At Feilding on Friday we had a good clearance at late rates: Cull lambs 7s 9d. b.f. lambs 14s 2d fro 14s Bd, small b.f. lambs 12s 3d to 13s, medium lambs 14s od. good lambs 16s 7d. fat and forward ewes 21s 6d, store ewes 15s to 16s 9d, rams 18s 6d, small weaners 235, aged store cows £2 3s to U3, store cows £4 13s. forward cows £5 17s 6d to £6 ss, fat cows £7 2s Od to £9 7s, fat heifers (light) £6 15s, forward heifers £4 12s to £5 13s.

On Monday we held a clearing sale on account of Mr H. Vile, Himatangi. The dairy stock was food, and we had a large attendance of buyers and a good sale resulted. Tlie 39 cows averaged £9 4s, the best prices being £11 los. £12. £12-ss. and £17 ss. -Other. prices: Springing heifers £G 17s Od. £7 10s, heifers in calf £6 2s 6d, year-' liipr Jersey heifers £3 10s. weaner heifers £1 12s 6d. bull £5 ss, fat sheep 21s *6d.

FEILDING STOCK SALES

Abraham and Williams report on their Feilding .sale, yesterday: We bad a good warding of all classes of stock, which -met* with a ready sale at current, rates. We quote:" Twotool h wethers 24s 4d, fat and forward ewes 23s 4d, aged empty ewes 13s 3d, 1 Is Od to lis 9d, shorn lambs 14s to 15s 3d to 17s 9d (good), black-face lambs 12s 3d, fat owes 21s 6d, 23s 5d fo 23 s 9d, small two-tooths 19s 2d; fat cows £7 -136, £7 14s, £8 10s, £9 3* fo £9 17s 6d; forward cows £4 to £0 10s, weaners ]9s, springing dairy cows to £15 ss.
