We -have received a letter from Wellington signed "Uncle Tom," who writes asking, tihe children to do something big on April 25: "1 am very pleased with your League Orphanage 'scheme. Boys and girls, what do you say to Unole Tom's suggestion.? Are you game to do sometlyi-ng Li g off your own bat ? Many Little boys and -girls have lost their father durnug the war, and tlhey havo been nearly forgotten. Would you like to show them that you have notP 1 !_a.ve 'before me a, lettei stating that- the Salvation Army want to erect live homes—at Auckland, Duned'in, Cihristolinwoh (2), and Island Bay—and the whole will cost £10,000.
