The correspondent of tho Times at New York says if has transpired that Count John Bernstorff's butler was among the waiters at the exclusive Gridiron Club's dinner ou Saturday, when President Wilson made an important pronouncement. This club's functions aro usually strictly private, andand the German Alnbas.sn.dor was aware that this dinner was no departure from the ride. Therefore- it is believed that ho sent his butler a* a spy.
