In the- House of Commons, Sir A. 15. Mairkliiaju (self-elected Leader of the Opposition), asked whether tllie-re were 117 Gem oral, now i,n Egypt. The Under-Secretary for War (Mr Touiuiiiit) replied that there were very largo forces im Egypt, and il was conceivable that 11.7 Generals were nocesHair.v for such forces.
