ANOTHER VOICE UPLIFTED. TEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. Oniunru. ['Y'bmary 10. A largely at touted special meeting of the Oamaru members of tiie Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants was held to-night. The following 're-* solution was unanimously carried: "That, while in sympathy with the Palmcrstou resolution: we. consider that, owing to the- abnormal increase in the cost of living, the Government should be asked in lake immediate steps to cope with the name. Failing this, nothing less than 2s increase per day be demanded; otherwise, the executive- be asked 1o take immediate and drastic action."
