Summary.—The barometer has fallen in tho south and risen in the north to-day. Increasing cloudiness has been reported, for the development of a storm area in the south. Strong westerly winds have ruled. Forecast.—Present indications are ior boisterous weather, especially in and southward of Cook Strait, with rain probable on tho West Coast and in the southern districts. The barometer is falling to the south of EastCape and Kawhia. Expect high north-westerly to south-westerly winds generally. , TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Indications are for westerly winds, veering by west to south. The weather will probably prove very boisterous. Rain probable, The oaromctcr has a falling tendency.
