AUCKLAND STOCK SALES

Tβ N.Z.L. and M.A. Co. report: At the West-field Yards on Wednesday fat cattle came forward in full numbers. The quality was not up to last week, and no extra heavy-weights were yarded. Prime oxen made up to 37b 6d per 1001b, others 34s to 36s per 1001b; cowe and heifers, 30s to 35s per 1001b. Steers Bold at from £9 10s to £15 10s; cows and heifers., £4 to £12. A draft of 30 steers from the dcahukura Estate averaged £14 17s, and 80 cows from the same estate averaged £9 18s. Many other consignments averaged over £13. A 7 eal calves came forward in large numbers, and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers made from £3 19s to £4 13s, medium weights £2 10s to £3 Is, lighter sorts £2 to £2 9s, smaller 20s to 38s, small and freshly dropped 3s to 18s.
