Summary.—High a tmosi>heric pressure has ruled, with fair weather, but gloomy skies have prevailed at timee in the East Coast and southern districts. Moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated. Forecast. —Present indications are for a continuance of fair weather. Anti-cyclonic pressure should prevail until the early part of next week, when a decrease of barometric pressure is anticipated. Moderate southeasterly winds are probable over the North Island, and southerliea in the south, giving place to more variable directions soon. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. The indications are for south-easter-ly, moderate winds prevailing. There is a. prospect of fine weather, days bright and nights cold. Barometer shows little movement.
