MODEL OF MILKING SHED.
Dairy farmers will be more than interested in the model of a milking shed which has been constructed by Mr John Bull, Instructor of Farm Carpentry for this district under the Wanganui Education Board. The model is drawn accurately to scale, one inch to a foot, and is perfect throughout. The bails are so fitted that the whole of the cows may be released at once if desired, or any one may be bailed up or released without interfering with the others. The important matters of lighting and ven<tilation are skilfully dealt with, and the drainage of the ehed a lesson m itself. Mr Bull is now at work constructing the model of a silo. Later he will model a milking shed for machines. It is intended to exhibit these models at various centres throughout the district
