AMERICAN STRIKE
RESULTS IN BLOODSHED

After a strike, which resulted in bloodshed, around the town of Depew, the Governor ordered out the militia. The strikers assembled around the the factories where the strike is existing, and the militia made several bayonet charges before they cleared th* strikers away. A strike of street railwaymen followed. The strikers held up a •train. Several were injured during - the disturbance folowing.
