KIMBOLTON METHODISTS.
The Methodists of Kimbolton district are holding their harvest thanksgiving services on Sunday, and tiie Rev. J. Oliver will on the occasion preach his farewell sermon, before going to Norsewood. It had been proposed to hold a garden fete to raise funds, but in view of the many calls on the purses of the residents lately the fete was dropped. It is hoped, therefore, that the thanksgiving for harvest will be a genuine one and well supported. On Monday a sale of work wil ltake place, for which tlie ladies have a large collection of useful articles, and afternoon tea will be dispensed. Contributions of vegetables, fruit, and produce for the services will be gratefully accepted. Ou Monday evening these will be sold to raise funds for the extinction of the debt.
