LAST NIGHT'S REPORTS. Summary. —East, to south-easterly gales have been reported in the north, and moderate to strong easterly elsewhere. Rain has fallen in the east .coast and the northernmost districts, and cloudy weather has predominated. The - barometer has been unsteady, high in the south and low in the north. Conditions
are apparently much disturbed to the westward of the Dominion. Forecast. —Indications are still rather ominous, and the barometer is likely to fall everywhere. Cloudy, misty and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally. Expect strong easterly winds, with a northerly tendency soon.„ TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Easterly moderate to strong winds and veering by east to north, and then freshening, AYeafcher continues threatening,'clouding over, with rain later. The barometer has a falling tendency. ■ _^
