THE RANGITIKEI MEETING
The first day's races of Rangitikei Racing Club's annual meeting was held at Bulls racecourse yesterday. There was a large attendance, and the weather was perfect and the course was in splendid order. Results :—
Maiden Hack Handicap.—His Eminence 1, Grey Guards 2, Hoopoe 3. Won by a length. Time, 1.33 l-sth. Ohakea Hack Hurdles.—Jackman 1, Huia 2. Florist 3. Won by three lengths. Time. 3.23 l-sth. Carnarvon Hack.—Lubriline 1. Orleans 2, A-fctoris 3. AVon by two lengths. Time, 1.16 l-sth. Rangitikei Cnn.—Moutoa Girl 1, Leonta 2. Otahu 3. AVon all out by a length. Time, 2.9 l-o. Pukenui AVelter Hack.—Papamaranuv 1, Firing Line 2, St. Bees 3.. AVon by three lengths. Time. 1.35 4-sths. Parewanui AVelter.—AVhite Crane 1, Tetikura 2, Braeburn 3. AVon by about two lengths. Time. 1.50 l-sth. Ngatiapi Hack Handicap.—Powder Fox 1, Brunswick 2, Martlet 3. AVon by a neck. Time, 1.2. ! PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Bulls. March 26. The Rangitikei Racing Club's second day had glorious weather, and the going is good. Clifton Handicap. — Emvorth 1, Simple Sam 2. Powder Fox 3. AVon by half a length in 1.2.
