WEDDING BELLS.
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Rongotea on the 11th, the I > onjtracting parties being Joseph Moore, son of the late Mr George Moore, and Ruth Rosina, second laughter of Mr and Mrs F. W. BottJher, all of Rongotea. The ceremony, was performed by Rev. Mr Fortune. Tho who was given away by Mr H. C. Bottcher,. was prettily attired in cream silk taffeta, and woro the usual orthodox veil and shower bouquet. She was attended 'by little Miss Venom. Emily Bottcher (cousin), wearing cream stripped delaine, and little Muriel Evelina Moore (sister of the bridegroom), who was dressed in blue silk. Mr Sydney Clements (Palmerston) acted as best man, and Mr W. Foster (Rongotea) as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests dined at th e residency of Mrs Moore (mother of th c bridegroom), over 60 persons being present, and the usual toasts were proposed. Mr Fortune, who presided, proposed th c toast of the oridegroom, which was responded to oy the bridegroom. The toast of< the Iji-id'ssmaids ivas responded to by Mr Clements. The bridegroom's present to? the bride was a gold penchant and to the bridesmaids a greenstone penchant and greenstone brooch. The presents, which were numerous and costly, included several cheques. The honeymoon was spent at Napier.
