At the meeting of tlie General Committee of th P above body yesterday, Mr J. A. Nash asked that aii expert be appointed to judge the needl 6 work section, which was now becoming a leading feature of the Show. The suggestion was referred to the Winter Show Committee, with a recommendation in its favour. The Shire Horse Society, of England wrote that it was sending two gold medaLs i'or the 1914 Show for the class for best registered Shire stallion and mare respectively.
