An amusing -story is told by tTIo Marlborough Express which indicates a country motorists -lack of engineer, ing knowledge. He purchased a motor-car from a Nelson firm, but after plying for hire for about four months lie was utterly dissatisfied with the engine of the vehicle. Thigs did not seem to go right, co he determined to go to Nelson to interview the agent. A very brief examination sufficed, to show that one of the brakes had been full on ever since the car was purchased!
