The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: — Winds. — Freshening northerly, strong .wind,, to gale tor storm, appear to be approaching from the west. The weather will probably be dull and overcast. JToavy rain is to bo expected, with rivers flooded. Barometer falling.
