Alessrs A. H. Atkinson and Co. report an active market all round on Friday. There was a medium entry of pigs and poultry, which sold at quotations. Aged draught horses made £9, aged hacks 255; two-year heifers £4 los; weaner pigs 4s 6d, ss, 7s, Ss; slips 6s 6d to 10s 6d; stores 14s 6d, 16s 6d to 19sj porkers 25s 6d to 28s. Hens, at per pair, 2s 6d, 2s 9d, 3s, 3s 3d; small cockerels Is 6d to 2s, grown sorts 3s to 3s 9d; 'ducks 3s 6d. Tups, 2s 6o\. Saddles £2 10s to £3 10s; harness 20s to 455; bridles 7s 6d to lis. Chaff 2s to 3s per sack; bran 5s 6d to 6s. Pumpkins 5s 6d to 6s 6d sack; marrows 3s to 3s 6d; cabbages 4s; cauliflowers 8s; potatoes 9s to 10s 6d. Pears 6s; apples' 6s to 7s, half-cases os. Onions 10s to 12s cwt; parsnips Is 6d to 2s per sugar bag; carrots Is 6d.
