Tho Pall Mall Gazetto says the wholo of the labour forces are concentrating in a schemo for an eight hours day for everybody. Tho trade unions claim to havo six million supporters for a series of demonstrations m June, and tho Labour Party is preparing for tho enacting of a Bill providing an eight-hours day. (Received May 17, 10.20 a.m.) London, May 16. The Lancashire miners have obtained a minimum wage of from 5s to 6s 6d, and for boys 2s 3d to 5s 6d.
Sydney, May 17. A meeting of the Employers' Federation decieled to establish a fighting fund to protect their common interests during industrial disturbances.
