HUNTERVILLE AND TAIHAPE SALES.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. report: — At our Hunterville sale on Tuesday thero was a good yarding of stock and large attendance of buyers. Cull lambs made 4s 9d, mixed lambs 7s lOd, s.m. ewes 9s 3d, 10s 4d to 10s 9d; forward wethers 12s 9d; Romney rams to £2 2s; empty cows id to £3 12s; 18-month steers £3 10s to £4 4s 6d; 3yr and 4yr bullocks to £.7 10s.
At our Taihape sale on Wednesday wo yarded over 7000 sheep, principally ewes and lambs, and all lots were sold -ivith the exception of-two small pens. Cattle were also'in fair demand, and the majority changed hands. Quotations: Cull lambs to 3s Bd, small mixed lambs 5s 7d, 5s Bd, 'medium wether lambs to 6s o'd, mixed lambs 7s 2d to 7s 7d, ewe lambs to 8s lOd, aged rams 8s 6d, aged ewes ss, 5s 9d, f.m. ewes 7s, 7s Id, mixed age ewes to 8s 3d, fouryoar ewes to 9d, two-tooth ewes
