SUDDEN
COLLISION AT AORANGI. A MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED. About 9.30 last night a somewhat serious collision took place at Aorangi, when a motor bicycle being rmden by two men coining irom Palmerston met with violent impact a trap and horse going in the opposite direction. There were two Maoris in the trap. Just how the accident occurred is not known, but it appears the harness was broken, freeing the horse from the trap. Mr W. H. Hall, second auctioneer for Messrs Dalgety and Co., who was one of the riders of the motor cycle, received the worst injuries, being severely cut about the face. He was picked up by his companion, another employee of the Company, and conveyed to a house near by. Mr C. Evans, Feilding manager, was telephoned for, and he conveyed tho injured man by motor car to a private hospital in Palmerston. The occupants of the trap disappeared immediately after "'the accident, and it is not known it they suffered iujliry. Presumably they did not.
